Algorithm expert
Main Responsibility: Technical leader of system and algorithm design team for UE chipset.Short term (within 1 year) work for the team:
1. Reviewing and understanding the current solution for HSPA chipset in system level;
2. Defining the milestone-style working plan to deliver the system level solution for HSPA+ chipset based on current solution;
3. Helping on optimization the current solution on system level;
4. Delivering both system and algorithm design for implementation team in China;
5. Communication with the HQ team.
Long term (within 2-3 years) work might be (negotiable):
1. Standardization work in 3GPP meeting, Patent related algorithm design and simulation, cooperating with internal Network standardization people;
2. System Design for Soft Defined Radio Baseband algorithm and architecture, multi-tasking baseband for the future UE chipset;
3. Communication with the HQ team in implementing the system design and testing and refining the solution;
4. Optimizing the solution both in performance or cost perspective;
5. Designing algorithm or system solution for some other standard such as LTE etc.
