Digital Ad Operations Coordinator

The Local is Europe's largest wholly owned network for expats and foreign professionals. Due to large increases in bookings we are now looking for a Digital Ad Operations specialist:
The Digital Advertising Operations specialist will be accountable for administering daily online advertising operations responsibilities for our network of sites.
Responsibilities encompass reviewing of creative assets, monitoring campaign delivery, and optimization of advertising campaigns through the Doubleclick Adserver. The main focus of this position is to ensure effective exchange of information among all relevant parties to achieve accurate and timely posting of ad campaigns. Experience in working with English speaking clients, and especially US based clients and practices is key.
This position is an integral part of the monthly revenue recognition process by assuring that all creative meets editorial guidelines and specs, impressions have been served for each campaign contract and that all data is accurately reported and recorded.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Uses the OPENX / DFP adverting delivery system to upload all creatives sent to us via the client in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collect creative from client, verify specifications, and follow defined creative/traffic process.
• Communicates ad specifications and creative lead times to sales team, advertising clients, and agencies.
• Ensures that the ad sales online ad campaigns are executed and implement in a timely and accurate manner.
• Works with animated graphics, 3rd party advertising tags, and HTML ad creatives.
• Monitors campaigns and ensures campaign deliveries.
• Troubleshoots any issues that may arise while campaigns are in progress.
• Works alongside the sales team with any necessary campaign reporting.
• Maintains ongoing liaison with advertisers, traffic departments, ad agencies, and sales staff, to ensure smooth ad placement and resolution of issues.
• Works as the primary point of contact for all client inquires, and “technical” creative and campaign questions
• Interrogates Google Analytics for traffic trends, recommendations and similar intelligence
• Presents digital intelligence to the company on a regular basis



Job Requirements:
• Previous Advertising Operations experience a + in either OpenX and/or Google Ad Manager / DFP
• Detailed oriented & Highly motivated
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong computer applications skills (Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of 3rd party advertising tags is preferred
• Knowledge of basic HTML is preferred
• Fluency in English, Swedish and German is desired
