Hydrodynamics - Senior Engineer

You perform hudrodynamic and stationkeeping analysis work within projects. You can also have a role as Lead Engineer within the discipline. The following work is undertaken:
-Perform Global Performance analysis
-Perform Stationkeeping analysis, mooring or DP
-Perform Hydrodynamic loading analysis, such as slamming and wave run up
-Lead role within Hydrodynamics analysis discipline
-Verify and QA check the analysis work
-External contacts with costomers, yard, 3:rd party societies and vendors
-Coordination with other disciplines within GVA
-Development of the services and software within the discipline
Engineering Software:WADAM, SIMO, DeepC, Mimosa and in-house programs.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
You have more than 5 years relevant experience within Hydrodynamic and/or Stationkeeping analysis work. Experience from hydrodynamics and stationkeeping simulation software is required. You have a PhD or at least a MSc in Naval Architect or similar. Good skills in English is required.
