Technology Specialists & Solutions System Managers

We are looking for a Technology Specialist for a multiple of technology areas ? such as O&M, SW, MW, HW & Storage technology areas, based in Stockholm.

This position is within the Technology & Solutions section within PDU EI Product, Solutions & Technology Unit.

PDU Evolved Infrastructure (EI) is a PDU within DU Core Networks (DUCN), a DU within BNET.

The PDU is responsible for continuously evolving our customer?s core infrastructure with a large product portfolio in these areas and evolving it towards the Component Based Architecture. PDU EI is currently deploying Lean & Agile ways of working in order to better align with Ericsson's 5 principles and "It begins with us" initiative.

As a Technology Specialist for the one of these areas, your responsibilities include:

- Identifying relevant technology trends & strategies for PDU EI within the technology area
- Engaged in the technical network for the area within Ericsson
- Aware of the initiatives within the industry for the technology area
- Understanding the key competitive products within the technology area

As a Technology Specialist you will be supporting the system/product studies for the technology area and have the potential to become a senior specialist and/or expert for your technology area. Your primary interfaces would include other technology specialist within and outside the PDU EI, Product Owners, and System/Component Architects.

- Bachelors or Master of Science in Computer Engineering or similar
- Minimum 10 years of experience with Systems Designs for Mobile Network Applications
- Knowledge in OSI Layer 1-5 Architecture

Requested Competence: (depth of understanding relevant to respective technology area)

- Expertise in end to end services and top-down network design, resulting in innovative network solutions
- Good knowledge of technologies & system architecture required for supporting O&M, SW, MW, HW & Storage solutions in a Cloud Infrastructure and Native node applications
- Good Understanding of Linux Operating Systems
- Good understanding of O&M, SW,MW, HW & Storage technologies ? previous experience in deploying storage solutions, experience with EMC a plus.
- Hands-on experience is considered a merit.

- Self-driven with excellent time and productivity management
- Good level of cultural awareness and its implications on communication.
- Ability to mentor and teach others.
- Attitude is characterized by "one Ericsson" and "Customer first"
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Fluent in oral and written English and have excellent writing and presentation skills.
