19925 - Product Owner for CBA Core MW and Open SAF

Product Development Unit Evolved Infrastructure (PDU EI) is a global organization with development centers in Montreal (Canada), Pagani (Italy), Budapest (Hungary), Shanghai (China) and Stockholm. The PDU is part of the DU Core and IMS and is responsible for a broad variety of products within a number of competence areas.

Our Development Center, located in Kista/Stockholm, is developing Middleware products for

Component Based Architecture (CBA). Core MW (CMW) is a strategic common component part of CBA which is providing standardized and HW independent interface to its users. CMW is also one of key components in Ericsson efficiency program thanks to inclusion of OpenSAF, supporting HW and SW decoupling.

Our Middleware products bring high service availability and scalability to our customers.

The HA system is written in C/C++ and is implemented in a 1-80 nodes cluster with high demands on service availability and quality.

Core MW has a 3PP called OpenSAF, which is an Open source product. We are a major contributor to the open source community.

We offer work in an Agile/Lean environment, continuously improving and transforming. An important driver for this is our cross functional teams. The teams work with all development phases and covering studies, implementation, documentation, verification and delivery using agile development methods. The teams are responsible for end-to-end product development.

Qualifications

As a good candidate you are flexible, want to make things happen and are keen to learn and improve things constantly. You have a proven leadership experience and working as PO or similar role.

As a PO you understand that the cores of our business are our development teams and you are available to support them when needed. The Product Owner belongs to our Product Owner team and participates in prioritizing the work based on business value and stakeholder consideration.

The Product Owner will also be a bridge towards our users and secure we collaborate to ensure the right quality on our components. For the CBA components, it?s crucial to have an alignment between component development organizations, where the Product Owner plays an important role.
