Buckswood är internationell internatskola med elever som kommer från hela världen. En skola där personalen förväntas vara flexibel när det gäller arbetstider och vilka arbetsuppgifter man utför. Eftersom de äldre eleverna är 18-19 år, förväntas du kunna kommunicera med dessa på ett vänligt sätt samtidigt som du är medveten om din roll som en av de vuxna personalen.

Buckswood School is looking for two females to work in the laundry . As a laundry assistant you will be sorting washing (each student has their own laundry bag) using industrial washing/drying machines,ironing and packing back into laundry bags for collection. With 150 students there is a lot of
work.

Utbildning/Erfarenhet: Your English should be good enough to manage basic communications. You should have experience in domestic duties.

You should preferably be over 19 years old. (Due to the fact that the older pupils are 18years old. Buckswood is a boarding school with separate accommodation for boys and girls. Only female accommodation is available for these jobs.) Pupils at Buckswood come from all over the world and most are boarders. The school works to create a friendly and family-like atmosphere for the pupils. However, staff members must also be aware that there is sometimes a need for staff members to insist on respect from pupils. This is not always easy for young staff members. You will gain a unique experience and an insight into a school world which is very different from the Swedish school system. The school is situated just outside Hastings with good access to public transport. The school is unable to refund airfares.
