20467 - Pre-Sale People Engagement Manager

Purpose

Proactively support the MS Engagement Teams in the Regions to close MS deals in the people domain during the Pré-sales phase and to support in the Transition.

Work with peers in People Engagement to develop Best Practices and apply these best practices in upcoming MS Engagements. People Engagement Best Practices in Business Foundation, Feasibility Study, Due Diligence and Transition.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Key Responsibilities

Main tasks:

- Engage in customer meetings and presentations to demonstrate Ericsson Best Practice on People Transition, People & Change Management capability.
- Actively participate in Sales Engagement projects to secure Best Practice plans for Transition Projects in Proposals, Business Cases, and Due Diligence Projects.
- Participate in steering meetings to ensure Transition projects are being executed according to plan and with leverage of the MS standard engagement toolbox.
- Ensure that Transition projects employ Best Practice Change Management techniques in line with local country employment legislation and practices
- Mentor and train local Regional Project staff and functional support groups (Engagement Teams , Sales teams, HR, Communications, T&T Project Managers)
- Transfer Best Practice and knowledge to the engagement teams to build up local knowledge and help promote better MS business practices.

Required competencies

Personal Characteristics:

- Business oriented and ability to solve problems on high-level business issues.
- Broad generalist who can understand the importance of integrating all areas into a context.

Strong Knowledge of:

- Best Practice in people management, competence build and retention, cultural change, staff motivation and Change Management practices on a global scale
- IT and Telecommunications industry, its dynamics, business drivers, and challenges
- The value propositions offered by the Managed Services portfolio and especially the people and competence value proposition
Sales and delivery Strategies & Methodologies
- MS Sales Process

Experience: (differentiate):

- Transition & Transformation Program Management
- Presentation and Communication on C-level
- Leadership of formal and informal networks
- Coaching and Mentoring skills in a variety of cultures
- Experience matured from large scale T&T Programs for a minimum of 2-3 years

Frequent travel is required.
