22802 - Receiver Design ? RF Designer

Radio Design is responsible for research, development and maintenance of radio unit in Ericsson Radio Base station products. One of our major challenges is to develop and deliver high volumes Radio hardware in short timeframes.

Receiver Design is responsible for the Up-link part in the Radio. We are working from research to maintenance and from LNA to the digital interface.

Job Description

The job is within the area of product development and includes areas as:

Evaluating of components
Simulations
Link budgets
Schematic design
Support of board layout
Production support
Verification
You will work with highly skilled colleagues within different competence areas. You will interface with component engineers, digital design, radio system design and SW design. Co-operation with other design centers in Sweden, China and Canada is part of the work.

Qualifications

You should have good knowledge of electronic design as well as highly developed team working skills. Strong result-orientation comes naturally to you. You are highly motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.

You should also have:

Knowledge of analog/digital design
Knowledge of analog/radio measurement
Knowledge of digital system design and radio design
Knowledge of Wireless Communication systems, incl. 3GPP, LTE and TDD.
You are result-oriented, have good communication and cooperation skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
You will work together with our receiver designer both in small team and also cooperate with other sites. A service mindset and good communication skill is therefore important.

At the same time you need to be able to drive your own projects/areas and way of working.

Tools:

ADS or similar simulation tool.
Cadence BPc
Mathlab
VEE or LabVIEW

Qualifications:

Knowledge in RF design and verification
Good knowledge in Test and verification methods
Basic system knowledge in Radio Access Technologies (GSM/WCDMA/LTE)
You need experience from working in projects
As this is a global position you need good communication- and interpersonal skills

Level of education:
