At Robotics we have several R&D sites globally, and at the site in Västerås, all R&D engineering disciplines are represented, from software- to electronics- and mechanical development. There is a strong local organization collaborating with all three of these domains on testing, verification and certification.
We are now looking for a suitable candidate to take on the role of System & Test Line Manager for the department working with Software-, Electronics- and Robot-application testing. The position means having the overall leadership of the department where one of the main responsibilities will be supporting the team’s constant strive for increased product quality and customer experience. A main challenge is also to, with the team, drive continuous efficiency improvement and test strategy development. You will have the opportunity to work with the best people in a global and inspiring environment where innovation is the pillar, and being in the forefront of technology is our trademark!
You will be part of the R&D site management team and report to the Swedish R&D Manager.
Your responsibilities
Setting and following up on budget.
Resource planning and recruitment.
Having an open dialogue with internal stake holders such as program- and project managers.
Responsible for the work environment - focusing on health and safety and employee well-being.
Coaching and developing employees.
Responsible for the software- and application test lab robot cells and equipment.

Your background
To succeed in this role you need to be structured and enjoy collaborating with a broad range of people.
+5 years of work experience within the relevant field. Previous managerial experience is meritorious.
Technical background within software, and/or electronics. Preferably within an industrial context.
English language skills are mandatory, but Swedish is highly preferable – written and spoken alike.
On a personal level, you are organized, result oriented and self-motivated. But most importantly, we believe in having fun at work and as a team player we hope you have great social skills and an easy-going attitude.
