Volvo Information Technology AB was set up in 1998 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AB Volvo. Our customers include Volvo Group units, Volvo Car Corporation and other External companies. We have offices around the world and master a wide variety of IT areas.

Within the department Customer Relations & Sales we are a team of about 30 persons with high spirit managing opportunities and customers on the market outside of Volvo Group. We aim to significantly increase Volvo IT:s business on the external market with focus on growth and synergies in Solutions and Services.

Our businesses with Stockholm City are growing and we are now looking for a target oriented and driven:
Account Manager External Sales Stockholm City

You will work in a team based environment with focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities to support the customers? business and to become a strategic partner together with the customer. You will also be responsible to ensure renewal of already existing business in the area.

As Account Manager you will work closely with Proposal Managers and other professionals in the Infrastructure & Operations, Solution Units and Application Delivery organizations.

To succeed in this role we think you are an experienced and engaged person, having the ability to build effective relations with customers as well as within the organisation itself.

Main Responsibilities:

- Development of Volvo IT:s business.

- Management of customer relations.

- Manage the Volvo IT organization in customer opportunities and requirements.

- Establish customer plans and sales budgets/forecasts.

- Establish and manage a customer team within the specific area.

- Participation in Steering Committees.

- Develop customer satisfaction, sales and profitability within your customer's area.

- Negotiation and execution of agreements with customers.


Qualifications:

- Being a strong leader for your customer team and for bid teams

- Ability to act as a driving force for the customer within our organization

- Ability to seek new avenues and opportunities to expand services to current customer

- Experience of Business Development

- Experience of leading a sales team in complex selling processes.

- Good understanding of Volvo IT:s service and product portfolio is meriting

- High social competence and excellent presentation skills.

- Relevant academic qualifications and/or equivalent experience.

- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

The position will be placed in Stockholm and you will functionally report to the Key Account Manager for the Stockholm City account and your line manager will be the First Line Manager at Customer Relations & Sales. Position location will be in Stockholm with some domestic travelling.
