Accountant - Chief Accountant Support

You will assist a Chief Accountant with the task of on boarding three companies that our client recently has acquired a majority stake in. You will also work in close co-operation with one or several Chief Accountants and support him/ her in all areas of his/ her responsibility such as:

-Drive daily control and monitoring within all relevant accounting processes

-Ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting for the legal entity

-Consolidate, report and deliver monthly and annual closing of the legal entity results

-Coordinate and facilitate audits for the legal entity

-Ensure compliance with internal control objectives, local GAAP’s and Financial Policies and Procedures

-Manage the monthly end closing process, business consolidation system reporting and preparation for annual audit

-Support the different stakeholders throughout the entire closing process – not only within own function/ organisation

The department you will be working with secures financial compliance in all legal entities in close co-operation with relevant stakeholders. The department also manages the local tax administration and local treasury related tasks in accordance with directions and approvals from corporate functions.

You will be working both independently and in teams.

Preferred academic degree and experience/ Kvalifikationer:

-Academic degree in economy/ finance or equivalent education

-Minimum three years of experience in the field of accounting

-Experience from SAP R/3 and thorough knowledge of Excel

-Experience from Finance & Accounting processes

-Good command of English both verbal and written

Preferred personal profile:

-A team player with a strong drive and a positive attitude and a genuine interest in accounting

-Have an open attitude to work in a changing environment (flexible)

-Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills (holistic view with an eye for details)

-Able to build relationships, network and teamwork with all stakeholders in a virtual international environment

-Strong customer/partner & quality focus and a personal drive to reach the set objectives and targets

-Proactive on problem solving and able to prioritize
