Accountant to PinMeTo

PinMeTo helps businesses get discovered, found, and verified on the biggest search, map, and social media platforms.
Our online Software as a Service (SaaS) platform makes sure all of a chain or franchise’s locations can be found on multiple search, map, and social media platforms, including Apple, Facebook, Google, Instagram, Twitter, Foursquare, and thousands more. We take people from search to action.
Having left the startup phase, we are now scaling up with regards to product development and market presence and we are now in need of an Financial Accountant to support the business. The job is a full time position based in Malmö. You will report directly to the CEO.
About the job & the team
In this position you will manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
We believe you have strong business acumen. Experience of working in fast-growing start-up or scale-up companies is seen as meritorious.


Key Responsibilities
Manage all accounting transactions
Support and Prepare budget forecasts
Publish financial statements in time
Handle monthly closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
Comply with financial policies and regulations where we have business



Your profile
The successful candidate is self-motivated, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team. You have good communication and social skills and the ability to handle ad-hoc tasks.
We are looking for a flexible, structured and hard working person, who is willing to put in the extra hours when necessary.
BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
Work experience as an Accountant ( 5-10y)
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures,
Hands-on experience with accounting software program
Advanced MS Excel skills
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Language skills: Fluent Swedish and English
Some international experience, PinMeTo has business across the Nordics and Poland will continue to open more field sales offices in the future as the company expands
Background from any of the following industry sectors is a plus, but not necessary: SaaS, company selling directly to customers.
