We are now looking for an Accounting Manager. This is a permanent employment and will start as soon as possible.

 This includes:



Managing internal controls to mitigate risk



Creating and presenting financial reports to internal and external parties



Ensuring that the accounting is up-to-date and accurate



Ensure up to date systems and reporting tools to provide high-quality financial information that supports Business Sweden management decision making.

What do we expect from you as Accounting Manager?

As Accounting Manager you will be responsible for the accounting function at the financial department. At the accounting function there are six colleagues at the moment.

Your principal duties will include, but are not limited to: 





Responsibility for all aspects of the financial accounting



Lead and support the accounting team in their handling of day to day financial transactions



Weekly, monthly, quarterly and adhoc financial reporting ensuring all deadline are met



Develop systems and procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of the business



Ensure accounting policies and procedures comply with all the relevant statutory and group requirements.



Act as point of contact for external auditors, financial institutions and advisors



Fiscal reporting and compliance including statutory accounts and tax



Ensure that the payroll process is efficient and of good quality 

Who are we looking for?



You have a bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting, or equivalent. You have a minimum of 7-10 years relevant work experience, preferably in a dynamic and international organization. You have experience of leading teams and of project management. Prior work experience from the Swedish Trade Council is an advantage. Experience of working in Agresso and Business Sweden’s´ other support systems is also a merit. Experience as an Auditor is desired. A very high level of proficiency in Swedish and English is a requirement. You should be used to operate in an international environment and should be skilled in relationship building.

You will report to the Finance Manager.



As a person, you are well-organized, structured and thorough. You are able to take the initiative and are keen to add value and professionalism. You are interested in other people and have the capacity to lead, motivate and communicate with you peers and colleagues.
