At IKEA of Sweden (IOS), in Älmhult, we create the global product range and steer our global purchasing business based on our business idea to offer a wide range of well designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible will be able to afford them.

Assignment
As an Activity Coordinator you are a part of the Demand Planner team coordinating global and country activities with need- and demand planners in your home furnishing business. In addition, you act as the point of entry of information towards Regional Supply Team (activity coordinators) and Retail (Commercial Activity Leaders/Sales Leaders). Together with the Commercial Manager and Sales Responsible you secure the commercial activity process inside the HFB/BA. You play an active role in the activity coordination group addressing improvements, questions and uncertainties. You also contribute to the development of common working methods and tools based on best practice.

Is this the challenge for you?
To be successful in this role we believe that you have a background from retail and understanding of the sales planning process, both when it comes to ways of working and systems. Knowledge of capacity and need planning and how this influences the activity coordination is also preferable. As a person you have strong communication skills and the ability to influence others. You enjoy handling a variety of tasks and are able to prioritise and structure your work based on the business needs. You have the ability to lead and drive processes, people and functions and can stay calm in challenging situations.
