Advanced Engineering Concept Leader - Engine Strategy & Research

The Engine Strategy and Research group have the main focus to investigate, develop and propose new, improved engine technologies. We work in early phases from the fuel to the emissions with fuels, lubrication, spark and compression ignited engines, system integration and emissions control systems. We consists of 11 experts that often act as Advanced Engineering project leaders, internal consultant for special investigations and information. The result from this group leads in to future serial technology development.

As Advanced Engineering Concept Leader you will lead the development of early phases of new technologies for combustion engines, plan for resources as well as budget and act as a project leader. You will handle our annual studies and project in early phases.

Main responsibilities

* Lead and support Advanced Engineering projects
* Lead and initiate early investigations
* Lead and support Swedish and European funded research projects
* Investigate technologies for improvements of combustion engines
* Lead, support and plan test activities

Required qualifications

* M.Sc, preferably a PhD within the combustion engine area
* Experience in project management
* Understanding of combustion engines and its test activities
* Understanding of measurement techniques
* Driver's license B
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Good knowledge in German is meritorious

* Ability to travel if necessary
