Electrical systems analysis is a group within Electrical systems integration responsible for testing of customer functions and system behavior on a high system level as well as system analysis of complex problems during integration events prior to Software releases. The group has also the responsibility of advanced fault tracers who are supporting the complete R&D with hands on fault tracing in vehicles and box cars, test activities in complete vehicle test objects during expeditions and other test activities, prototype builds, factory etc. We are in an expansive and focused area and there is a great opportunity to affect the direction the development of responsibilities and methods. The group consist of 13 experienced, competent and dedicated persons.

As Advanced Fault Tracer - Electrical Systems Analysis you will work with troubleshooting and analyse problems such as loss of functionality. Fault tracing will be done in test cars at all departments and you will support all plants during pre-series built. For example you will work with troubleshooting cars that cannot be programmed with factory equipment, back-office training, troubleshoot press runs, launches of new car models and participate at testing complete vehicle expeditions. Main responsibilities

* Perform fault tracing and systems analyse regarding electrical functions in cars
* Report faults in cars to project and line organisation
* Participate in expeditions
* Support plants during pre-series build
* Fault tracing support during integration events

Required qualifications

* B.Sc. or several years of relevant experience
* Vehicle knowledge on a complete vehicle level
* Fluent in English, spoken and written
* Driver's license, B-level
* Experience of electrical architecture, signal configuration, communication, diagnosis and software-download is meritorious
* Experience of CANalyzer, DSA, PIE is meritorious
