In this role, you will help ramp up a critical supplier within a very large New Product Introduction process who’s expected to help drive improved imaging diagnostics on the Computed Tomography space. Photon Counting CTs are expected to be the future of tomography imaging and you’ll get to be part of expanding Healthcare limits.
In this role, you will be responsible departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Drive ramp up of key manufacturing site in terms of improved output and yield through usage of solid background in process development/improvement leveraging good interpersonal relationship and influential leadership;
• Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing advanced manufacturing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production;
• Work with manufacturing leadership to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design;
• Monitor and improve productivity through the use of Lean Six Sigma or related tools, while ensuring all customer commitments are timely and cost-conscious and met with quality;
• Ensure early focus on manufacturability in NPI and/or Advanced Technology programs. Drive rigor in process capability assessment, process layout, tooling and equipment development;
• Work alongside Design Engineers to support development of experiments to increase safety, quality, delivery KPIs, as well as reduce costs;
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent education with demonstrable background in process and equipment improvement / development ;
• This role requires advanced experience in the Manufacturing process development space;
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to navigate different work cultures in a global and diverse environment;
• Strong process development/improvement background with solid deliverables individuals willing to contribute and learn from other team members;
• This role requires a regular presence in our manufacturing site in Norrtälje, Sweden (on-site role) and interaction with a design center located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Desired Characteristics
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Integrity, high sense of ownership and humility to learn and contribute;
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good understanding of equipment software programming, automation and/or electronics is a plus.
• Masters/PhD could be considered a plus;
