About the Team We are the Cross Functional Team (CFT) "Swedish HR & Payroll" and we now look for an Agile Product Owner (APO) for our Swedish HR area. The HR solution is cloud based and our responsibility is to secure the service delivery including both development and maintenance. We need to analyze needs, propose development activities and align/cooperate with service vendors and other CFT.
We develop and realize the roadmap together with the vendors and other APOs within HR & Payroll Value stream, we coordinate the proposed changes in the system, we secure maintenance and service levels agreed with the vendors. Together with the CFT we secure the integration between systems in order to deliver right functionality and correct data quality.
About the Job
In the APO role, you are responsible for what to build/order and when, to maximize the value of the investment and the work of the CFT. Since we work with Cloud solutions the supplier relation is very important, the development is done by these external consultants and they are to be seen as part of our CFT.
You secure delivery of appropriate, secure & reliable IT services throughout the life-cycle in accordance to the internal and external regulations and standards.
You are responsible for collecting input and managing expectations from your stakeholders in order to optimize the deliveries. You act as owner of IT services assigned to the APO and articulate investment opportunities to the stakeholders
Ensure that the backlog is in place: items are created, acceptance criteria are defined and items are understandable for the team, Prioritize items in the backlog – find the best balance between new functionality, maintenance, life cycle, regulatory etc. items
Manage stakeholder expectations on deliveries (when, what backlog items etc.) Escalate unmitigated risks and backlog issues to the CPO, Ensure that agreed investments opportunities from the value stream roadmap are delivered
Ensure frequent delivery of potentially shippable products iteratively and incrementally, maximizing opportunities for feedback. Decide when there is enough value to release to production together with stakeholders, Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building and maintaining software
Collaborate with other teams and APOs in order to secure value stream joint deliveries, Act as team player in the cross functional team and constantly improve the way of working, Plan and estimate the work & deliveries together with the team and other APOs.
What you need to succeed To be successful in this role, you need understanding & knowledge in development and maintenance of IT-solutions, You have deep understanding of the HR/Payroll process domain. You are preferably an experienced agile professional and a promotor of the agile way of working, you are experienced in working with external vendors and it is a plus if you have experience from working with cloud solutions. Excellent communication skills are crucial, and you find ways of adapting your communication to different stakeholders easily. Education: Preferable Academic degree in engineering, business administration or any other relevant discipline
