Analyst/Senior Analyst to Nordea

Bank capitalisation is currently under heavy focus from investors, analysts and senior management which has implications for the business model. Growth needs to be capital efficient in order to be profitable. The capital allocation framework ensures that business decisions are aligned to the Groups RoE target. Benchmark studies, impact estimations and portfolio analyses further increase capital efficiency by providing senior management with tools to optimize the usage of capital throughout the Group.
Group Capital, under the Group CFO, works daily with collecting, interpreting, calculating and reporting capital figures to senior management, business areas and the FSAs. Internal Models & Analysis is responsible for:

- Developing the economic capital framework in order to facilitate performance management throughout the Group.
- Conducting peer group/benchmark studies in order to ensure best-practice capital management.
-Supporting Business Areas with portfolio analyses in order to increase capital efficiency.

You will be working on the crossroads between Group Capital and Business Areas which provides you with the chance to build an extensive network within Nordea.

Given the large scope of the capital area, there will be a variety of challenges and in order to succeed you will independently need to build your own skill set through leveraging on expert knowledge, be it in risk modelling, accounting or performance management. This requires that you are a team player, possess excellent communication skills and that you are curious, driven, flexible and good at building relationships.

Required skills and competencies are Master degree in engineering or economics, experience from SAS, work experience from quantitative analysis and/or financial modelling in a bank or within management consulting.
