TNG is looking for an Analytical Chemist, with interest and experience in analytical tests within the area of FTIR, Thermal analysis, Microscopy, SEM and Rheology. Main focus of the role is to support development projects within Project Driven Organisation (PDO) and BU Wire & Cable as well as solving analytical problems for our client's customers.

Our client is a well-known company within the process industry.

You will be employed as a consultant by TNG and work onsite, our client is based in Stenungsund. The assignment is planned to start as soon as possible and is expected to be completed in June.

Beskrivning av tjänsten
- Contribute to overall HSE&Q performance by always keeping high HSE&Q standard.
- Responsible for planning, performance and evaluation of agreed projects i.e. advanced analytical test method development.
- Contingency contact with internal customers, colleagues and instrument suppliers.
- Give support to our internal customers in development projects or business teams.
- Work in accordance with established policies, procedures and instructions and specialised technical standards.
- Contributes with expertise in customer complaints/claim handling and investigations.
- Accountable for the repair, maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.


Vem är du?
You must think analytically, have good problem & change management skills, enjoy working in an international environment and at the same time, you must be able to work independently, to take initiative and to be disciplined and strict in controlling the application and technical environment. Furthermore;

- Master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering. Knowledge in polymer science and experience within rheology. Other techniques used in the laboratory are FTIR, Thermal analysis, Microscopy and SEM.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written skills).
- Good communication skills including planning, reporting and documentation.
- Cover literature and other information within the area of responsibility.
- Good IT skills
