Application Developer

We are now looking for a Application Developers for one of our clients. The Application Developer is responsible for developing and testing components or parts of a larger system in accordance with the project adopted standards, definitions and specifications.

The Application Developer is responsible for developing and testing components or parts of a larger system in accordance with the project adopted standards, definitions and specifications.

Experience and Background

For assignment number one we require a minimum of 3 year experience within the following competencies;

* JAVA (web development using Apache server)
* System integration: MQ (VCOM)
* ORACLE
* Experience in Agile way of working (and agile manifesto)
* Agile mind-set
* Fluent in English

Knowledge of following areas is a plus:

* c++
* Knowledge about product structure knowledge (KOLA)
* Truck product knowledge and interest in this

Application Maintenance, Support, Enhancement & New Development of a software solution. The right candidate has a background as an agile IT developer or architect. You will need the ability to understand construction and calculations behind the logic on trucks. It is a huge plus if the candidate has an experience in KOLA structure. We work within EDB (Engineering Data Base). The team sits in Gothenburg but works in a global context with systems globally. As we believe in self organized teams and empowerment you will take responsibility for applications from infrastructure to end user. Of course supported by the teams with all skills needed to provide quality solutions to the company. That means that you will not be stuck in one role. Daily work consists of coding, testing, business analysing and infrastructure understanding.
