Application Development Engineer
We are now looking for a driven Engineer with background in either mechatronics, test and/or SW programming. We believe you are driven to meet goals, think on your feet and take responsibility for solving the tasks at hand. You can expect to work with a wide range of products and tasks within this organisation. If you enjoy taking the lead and solving problems under high pressure with engineering at the forefront then this could be the challenge you are looking for.

Responsibilities and challenges:

• Analyse design requests from a variety of stakeholders and give rapid feedback with time and costs estimates for the given project requests
• You will be expected to take the responsibility from order intake and drive through the solution to customer delivery, in accordance to the expectations which you have agreed with the stakeholders
• You need to be able to travel regularly as and when needed and sometimes at short notice
• Part of the process you will be involved with requires international cooperation
• Your mind-set needs to be focused on safety and as such you need to ensure solutions are tested according to the applicable safety standards

Qualification:

To be successful in this role you should have a high drive to get the job done and not be afraid to think out of the box for how we can reach the goal. At the same time you need a healthy respect for the safety aspects of our industry. You need to enjoy working in an unpredictable environment where change is to be expected. You need to enjoy solving problems on the fly but you strive for the simple solutions wherever feasible. We expect that you have relevant work experience, preferably from a dynamic and international company and this will weigh heavier than official qualifications.

• A relevant engineering qualification to support your skills and experience working within an electromechanical design/test environment
• Experience of producing production and end user documentation as well as test reports or similar in a pedagogic manner.
• At least one of the following skill areas: -Mechatronics -Electronics -System test -Programming of automation/PLC´s or other devices for execution of tests etc.
• Knowledge or interest to learn the relevant directives for CE marking as well as accelerated lifetime tests
• Ability to communicate in both Swedish and English
It is a great advantage to have knowledge/experience of ERP systems, PLM/PDM systems as well as having a general process oriented way of thinking

• CAD experience (mechanical and/or electronic)
• Experience of third party test labs (SP, UL, TÜV)
• A degree of commercial knowledge can be beneficial in this role.
• Experience of Development Process and NPI process

You are self-motivated and you have the ability to plan and execute activities with minimal supervision. You strive to deliver results. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for this role.
