Application Development Specialist

The R&D department of Cellulosic Specialties serves the business with product development, application & business development and technical support for our two main technologies EHEC and CMC.

Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals AB,
Cellulosic Specialties, is looking for an
Application Development Specialist

for our Business Development Team in Stenungsund.

Main responsibilities

Support the marketing organization as a product and applications specialist, mainly in building applications such as cement and gypsum-based plasters and tile fix adhesives, but also paint.This includes performing marketing technical service assignments both in our laboratory as well as supporting joint development activities at customer facilities.

Participate in projects, mainly by performing experimental work, or lead projects and activities for the development of new or existing products and applications.

Qualifications

University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar,
and experience from laboratory work.


Experience from the building additives or paint industry
Ability to work on your own as well as in teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.A second foreign
language, such as German or Spanish, is an advantage.

Willingness and ability to travel world wide
