Application Engineer CAE IT

The global (and local) High Performance Computing (HPC) market is growing in a fast pace, and so does the requirements of the CAE IT environment.We are now expanding our CAE IT team and looking forward to your application!

In the role as application engineer, you will work with one foot within CAE and one within IT, bridging CAE R&D and IT departments. You will work with CAE method development, improving tools and optimizing CAE resources usage and supporting the R&D organization. It is important to be interested on programming and SW development, even though it is not the only responsibility you will have.

This is a senior role, and in addition to the technical aspects you will also be in contact with many of the users, leading user forums and supporting the R&D organization. This means that communication is an important part of the daily work.

We are looking for someone who is positive, outgoing and able to create and maintain long-lasting relationships with our customers. WE THINK THAT YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE

 Minimum Five years of work experience within CAE, preferably in system simulation & modelling within automotive.

Extensive experience from scripting/programming in Python and MATLAB

Experience from working with HPC and computational clusters, either hardware or software

MSc., or PhD within mechanical, mechatronics, automotive, engineering mathematics or similar.

Fluent in English and Swedish (meritorious)
