BI Operations team is operating H&M’s Data Warehouse platforms which are mainly used by the Sales Controllers, Merchandisers, Area Controllers and other functions within the selling and buying organizations. The main use is to follow up the business of the entire H&M as well as in the local markets. The Data Warehouse solutions are one of the most important and critical systems at H&M.

You will be responsible for our Cognos solution from an operational perspective. With our architect and our development side you will be part of a production team that works with develop and maintain the application and platform solution.

Your main responsibilities will be system administration, implementations and upgrades.
You will be technical adviser and support our monitor and surveillance offshore team. Along with team both onsite and offshore you’ll constantly work on improving and maintaining high quality operational delivery of our high priority systems.

Your responsibilities

The job as an Application Expert at H&M IT comes with a lot of responsibility and fun. Some of the main responsibility is below tasks.

- Proactive work against IBM-Cognos
- Knowledge and proactive work in Windows/Cognos environment
- Capacity planning
- Work according to Incident/Problem/Change Process (ITIL)
- Continuously improve the application operation tasks
- Improved Maintenance (i.e. monitor, disaster recovery, manual routines etc)

- Cognos knowledge
- Operation surveillance experience of business critical systems in an enterprise (complex and distributed) environment with high availability requirements
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Troubleshooting
- Incident Process and Change process (ITIL)
- Driven and accountable
- Ability to plan ones work and to work independently
- Communicative, positive and above all Service Minded
- Business minded
- Ability to learn and become technically skilled
- Is adaptive
- Work pro-actively

Desirable additional skills:
- SQL, Netezza, Informatica knowledge and Data warehouse solutions.
