Application Expert with BI solutions and MS SQL server knowledge

The Service Area Sales Controlling is a part of the Business Support Functions division and handles solutions for Sales budgeting, planning, follow up and Workforce management in stores and warehouses worldwide. We are looking for an Application Expert with BI solutions and MS SQL server knowledge. As Application Expert, you will maintain and develop the Budget, planning and follow up solutions (13WP2, SYNAPPS). The role will be a part of the Maintenance team which is based at the office in Stockholm, Marievik.

Technical analysis of business requirements
Design Development of solution improvements
Version release handling
3rd line support
Maintenance of the solution/system according to predefined routines
Support Operations and test teams.


We're looking for someone with around 5-10 years of experience with the following:
Hands-on experience of SQL server integration
Hands-on experience and a solid technical knowledge of SQL and Microsoft BIDS especially SSIS
Powershell script
Good understanding of BI Architecture
Experience with end user support via a helpdesk structure
Communication skills to “translate” IT matters to Business users
Good understanding of retail business
Good understanding of financial controlling process and multidimensional data modelling – MS SQL of advantage
Good understanding of in-memory cubed BI application of advantage
Experience in Agile approach to Development
Good understanding of Release Planning Scoping
Experience in system setting configuration
Experience in module development, implementation and testing
Experience in MS Office Sharepoint basic to advance knowledge
Experience in multi-national, multi-timezone teamwork


Tools competence
It is of advantage if you have experience of the following tools:
Board Toolkit.
Microsoft BIDS (especially SSIS)
QlikView
Business Objects
SQL, T-SQL
