Application Support Engineer to Genexis

Do you want to be part on a fast expanding market leading company? In order to cope with past and future growth in the Nordics, Genexis is now looking for an Application Support Engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Application Support Engineer you will be responsible for support to the Sales force and finding solutions for new and existing Telecom customers in the Nordics. This means providing technical assistance to the Sales force in their interactions with the customers as well as having direct contact with customers, which are mainly Telecom operators. The position will also consist of supporting clients with the introduction of Genexis equipment in their network design and troubleshooting problems raised by customers. Such problems can be caused by misconfiguration of Genexis equipment or by interoperability issues with other equipment in the customers? network.

QUALIFICATIONS
Technical study in Information Science or in Electrical Engineering oriented towards Communication Networks
Excellent Communication skills in one or more Scandinavian languages and English
Experienced in Ethernet/GPON/IP networks

It is also a requirement to have knowledge of higher protocols, such as IGMP and SIP.

Experience in the telecom market is also a great advantage. As a person, you are a good problem solver and work well with complex issues. You consider the whole picture and prioritize the right issues. Under stressful situations you remain calm and focus on the right things. It?s important that you are persistent and work until a project has been completed or results have been achieved. To succeed in the role you need to have good co-operational skills and have an ability to establish contacts and maintain relationships.
