RISE is today engaged in several applied digitalization projects and are now expanding. We are looking for researchers with experience in applied machine learning and other AI areas. We have an open position in Stockholm, Hudiksvall or Sundsvall, Sweden.

About the position
You will work on applied machine learnings projects in collaboration with the industry, the public sector, and academia. Experience with modern machine learnings frameworks such as Tensorflow, Pytorch, Keras is necessary, as is a passion for working on solving real world problems in various application domains. The work will be done in collaboration with other research and development departments within the industrial community, society and academia.

In the role, you will work with an agile methodology in a team that has overall responsibility over life cycle of several digitization projects. You contribute actively by conducting independent research and development of new and existing products and services, as well as in collaboration with other research groups and partners. The team's focus is to utilize data and add innovative new insights and application features to the customer's business needs. You also participate in the design of digitalization solutions and work with product development, prototyping and Proof-of-Concepts (PoC).

Who are you?
The ideal candidate for this position should have a research background or industrial background and can show a documented history of insightful work in the area. Preferably, this includes working with recent machine learning techniques, and adapting them to various application areas with a variety of data modalities. If you are driven to push the boundaries of what is possible with machine learning, chances are that you are the right person for this job.
