Summary
Are you our next Account manager focusing on our Nutrition portfolio? Baxter’s Queen of Nutrition based in Stockholm is retiring. She is covering Stockholm and the northern part of our country, so if you live close to our beautiful capital it would be perfect.
It is big shoes to fill, replacing our team member with all her experience and knowledge, but we know you will succeed if you have the right qualities. You will also get the chance to work beside her for a couple of months to learn as much about her insights as possible.
You will join a growing Business Unit in the spotlight, continue to expand Baxter’s Nutrition business and bring our fantastic products to the market. Baxter as a company is on a journey adapting to the new normal with a lot more of the sales activities being executed virtually and remotely. Collaboration with the wider sales team, commercial and medical functions will allow you to have insight and possibilities to influence marketing, pricing and market access activities. You will be instrumental in driving the business forward.
You have strong social and communication skills, both when writing and speaking. You enjoy being in front of a crowd presenting and thrive when you are negotiating with prospects. You are quick to understand and adapt – especially when our customers’ needs change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationship with customers, expand existing accounts and build new relationships within your territory
Participate in developing strategic plans for the products and related services in Sweden.
Achieving sales targets and implementing sales strategies to attain sales volume, customer growth and customer satisfaction for the portfolio
Preparation and implementation of targeted account plans; you will propose and provide each customer with appropriate solutions that will maximize opportunities both for the customer and for Baxter.
Actively drive development and implementation of targeted tender plans, including pre-tender strategies and tactics.
Demonstrations of the product portfolio for our clients.
Sales presentations provide technical and administrative product information and demonstrations, and pricing quotes to prospects.
Monitor competitive activities and communicate intelligence to the marketing team.
Acquire and deploy therapeutic and application expertise to maximize adoption and market penetration of new product launches.
Qualifications
Background as a nurse from preferably from ICU / Oncology / Neonatal / Pediatrics.
Sales experience in pharma/med. tech/life science.
A genuine drive for sales with an excellent understanding of strategic account development.
Great understanding of the tender process and pre-tender work.
Strong business acumen and proactive approach.
Strong negotiation skills with good knowledge about the health care system and the relevant stakeholders involved in the selling and tender processes.
Adaptable, solid communication, collaboration and team building skills.
Selling, educating and informing is natural to you and you are easy to create and develop long-term relationships.
It is an advantage if you are used to remote and digital sale.
Bachelor's degree with related healthcare sales experience.
Driver’s license is required.
Fluently in Swedish and strong English-skills.
