Academic Work is looking for an Art Buyer to our clients global marketing department.

This job is a staffing position, which means that you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant. The position is temporary for the period June-December 2017, based at the head office in Stockholm.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
You will work in a group of 15 art buyers. The ambition is through high-quality advertising, content and boost sales strengthen the brand. You will source photographers, stylists, illustrators and other creative players, as well as handle model / talent castings.

As an Art Buyer iyou will be responsible for budgets, production estimates, and preparing for photo shoots. As an Art Buyer you will know how to produce a wide variety of creative content and on different levels and needs. During a normal day, you will have a lot of negotiations, having creative and production meetings and administration. You will be working together with many different contacts, so being a good team player comes natural to you.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an art buyer, or experience as an agent with a high interest in fashion.


* Good knowledge and genuine interest of international casting (models), photographers, stylists, etc. within the fashion industry.
* Good contacts with agents and other creative people within the fashion industry. Both in Stockholm and internationally.
* Good knowledge and understanding of contract work.
* Fluent English, both spoken and written.


It will be considered an additional qualification if you have previous experience of film production.

As a person, you are ambitious and a hard worker with excellent skills in negotiations and the best deal in interest. You have a high service level, but are also able to work independently. Furthermore you are unpretentious, a fast learner and used to working with tight deadlines and fast pace.
