Artwork & Design Specialist

Arbetsbeskrivning

At Sandvik, we approach the world around us with an open mind, regardless of our individual position in the organization. That's how we learn, adapt and develop. In practice this means that initiatives, innovation and continuous improvements are day-to-day realities. We must always challenge ourselves and the way we work. For all of the important challenges we face, we put together a strong capable team to develop a solution.

The Marketing and Communication team within Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology works closely with the sales organization and product areas, with the mission of developing content to support product launches and drive the profitability of the business. To strengthen our Brand and Promotions team in Sandviken, we are now looking for a talented Artwork & Design Specialist who enjoys a setting where you have lots of space for your creativity and solid support to put plans into actions.

Job Summary
In this position, you are responsible for keeping Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology's visual material creatively living and, at the same time, completely in-line with the Sandvik Brand Directive. You ensure a library of premium quality images, films and animated material with a consistent look and feel and liaise with external partners such as photographers and media producers in your mission. You take a leading role in the development of promotional material, both for print and digital media, planning and designing it yourself, or reviewing and approving material created by others. An important part of your job is to keep up-to-date with industry and market trends, as well as new innovative channels, aiming for successful visibility for our selected audiences.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a higher education in graphic design, communication or marketing and with experience of both print media and digital publishing. You have hands-on experience from working with graphic design and know how to apply design principles in the production of material. You also know how to create effective communication for websites, applications and social media by using tools for audio, visuals and animation, and you are highly skilled in Photoshop and InDesign. We prefer previous experience from working within a large international industrial company and, as our work is performed on the global stage, your communication skills in English, as well as in Swedish, must be excellent.

We recognize and value your personality; characterized by a positive and creative mindset with few limitations. With profound understanding and passion for our brand identity, you bring energy to your mission and are able to handle several projects simultaneously; meaning you are good at making effective judgments in priorities and time allocation. You are customer focused, but confidently balance between accepting new ideas and pushing back when needed to ensure alignment to the brand. Naturally, you are an exceptional communicator and an artist, but are also able to manage tasks and administration in a structured way. Additionally, you set ambitious targets, deliver on promises and follow through.
