Today the SAS Crew reaches their roster (schedule) information through various solutions, both web portals and apps and new solutions with specific needs are planned for. The current architecture generates capacity problems causing the roster to be unavailable to Crew during peak period upon roster release every month. The purpose of this initiative is to ensure Crew Roster needs are detailed and fulfilled through a valid and long term digital solution. The project shall design and implement a Crew Roster solution built on a future proof target architecture for Crew IT services. The SAS Crew Meal concept of how to choose, order and load the crew meal Onboard is now being refreshed in the ongoing pre study phase. The current IT- solution for crew meal ordering and handling is not consistent and getting near End of Life.

Scope for this new resource:
SAS are looking for a Solution Architect for the SAS Roster and the Crew Meal projects. As a Solution Architect you will be part of the projects teams reporting to the Project Managers as well as reporting to the Domain Architect of Operations IT. You need the ability to quickly understand the overall context of new applications within the SAS Operations IT architecture and its system stacks. You also need the ability to understand business and operational requirements. You will generate conceptual and solution designs during the pre study, design and implementation phases of the projects and create the Software Architecture Documents (SADs).

Deliverables
Required documentation and way of working according to SAS Enterprise Architecture and SAS Project Model.

Specs

- Highly competent within the IT Architecture field and specifically regarding system integrations (APIs).
- Experience with Devices and iOS devices specifically. Experiences from the hospitality and/or flight industry is a plus
