The location for this position is in our headquarters at World Trade Center in the middle of Stockholm.
Your mission
You play an important part in proactively making our everyday business life as smooth and easy as possible, by acting as a gatekeeper and ensuring an office setup that is well fit for purpose. You deliver timely and effective support to the Group Control managers on a daily basis, performing complex administrative activities according to the organization's established procedures, and you take initiatives to improve efficiency and quality of the work performed. You ensure information is gathered, verified and entered correctly into documents – such as reports, presentations or forms combined with office systems. Naturally, you manage tasks such as travel arrangements, calendars, events, presentations and expenses – and you connect with both internal and external customers and partners worldwide and make sure that callers and visitors are answered promptly and accurately. Further, you’re an active member of the assistants’ network within the Sandvik Group.
Your character
For this position we’re looking for someone with a can-do attitude and a natural talent for service, combined with good judgement and high integrity. You work methodically and ensure accuracy, always staying two steps ahead and being full of ideas when it comes to problem-solving. You’re responsive and unassuming, have the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice and take great pride in delivering on time. With your excellent communication skills, you easily connect with people from different cultures and settings.

You have at least a high school diploma, preferably in the area of economics, and we prefer that you have a couple of years’ experience relevant to this position. You’re a skilled user of common tools in Office 365, and as the job also includes working in SAP, it’s beneficial to be well acquainted with it. As we’re a truly global organization located in Sweden, you’ll have contacts requiring excellent communication skills in English as well as in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
