As an Associate Project Manager, you will be part of an exciting part of the industry, supporting the Construction department. This is a great development opportunity towards a role as a Project Manager within Vestas.

Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. Construction is responsible for installation, commission and finally handover of wind farms to the client. Working closely together with the client and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, efficiently and with a high-quality standard.
Responsibilities
The role as an Associate Project Manager is about the following:
Working close together with the different stakeholders within the department
Aim is to ensure that Wind Turbine projects for a region or portfolio are planned and optimised with the correct scope, strategy, contract, time schedule, budget and are aligned between all stakeholders
She/he will support the mentioned function but will run as well own project in different area
The position will be including a task rotation within the department to get a bright view of the complex diversity of the function Project Manager (f/m/d), this may also include a station abroad
The position is supposed to be an interim platform for the talented employees which would like to grow and pursue a career in Project Management
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering, Business Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline
First experience in the construction wind industry is a plus
Fluent language skills in English, good knowledge in a Nordic language is an advantage
Readiness to travel – around 30 %

Location is in Malmö.
Travel activity expected will be around 30 %.
