Role Summary/Purpose

We are looking for a new colleague to join the CBS (Customized Bioprocess Solutions) Automation team, which is a group of nearly 20 automation engineers. The function of an Electrical and Automation Engineer is to do electrical design and deliver automation solutions in customer projects. The electrical design is focused on design of electrical control cabinet and skid for a PLC controlled machine. It contains for example pumps, flowmeters, valves and monitoring instruments.

Key responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:

Designing electrical automation systems from customer requirements
Creating electrical documentation in AutoCAD
Process and regulatory knowledge
Experience of industrial field bus technologies
Responsible for electrical design documents

Installation support on customer sites may occur which involve occasional travels to customer sites. As the Automation Engineer you will also handle investigations on reported faults and complaints regarding electrical and control system design.

Qualifications/Requirements
To be successful in this role you need to have a genuine technical interest and problem solving skills in combination with a strong drive and customer focus. You are comfortable in working at a high pace and to deliver quality on short notice. You have experience from working in a project driven organization and thrive in an environment that offers daily technical challenges.

Formal requirements are:

Engineer (Swedish level of "Gymnasieingenjör" and minimum some years of relevant experience or "högskoleingenjör") in electrical technology or similar knowledge from working experience.
English and Swedish as working languages, both written and spoken
EU work permit
Experience in industrial electrical design

Desired Characteristics

Knowledge in UL and EU-standards related to electrical design
Experience of ATEX/Exi
Structured/Analytical
Experience from testing/verification
Team working skills
Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Knowledge in AutoCAD Electrical or similar tool
Knowledge from GEHC Bioprocess products
