Job Summary
Are you interested in shaping the new automation strategy for one of the key equipment in the processing line? Then we have the perfect position for you! We are now looking for an Automation Expert to be responsible for the automation and the digitalization of the Homogenizer portfolio.
The homogenizer team within Tetra Pak is responsible for product management, development of technical solutions and global support to market companies. The Homogenizer is a unique machine where mechanical excellence combined with deep knowledge of application is a key to our leadership in liquid food processing technology.
We are looking for an Automation Expert who will drive the digital and automation strategy of the Homogenizer portfolio. This position is permanent and you will be based in Lund, Sweden but work in a global area. Some traveling can be required to visit customers and suppliers.
What you will do
As an Automation Expert in our team you will work in close collaboration with highly skilled technical experts, application specialists and electrical designers. You will have an important role to align, develop and implement next generation of Homogenizer automation platform according to Key Components automation strategy including;
Set requirements together with stakeholders
Develop digitalization/automation strategy for the homogenizer portfolio
Tetra Pak PlantMaster
Condition monitoring
Next generation connectivity, IO-link
Verification and validation

As our new colleague, you will work with and be responsible for:
Automation design owner for Homogenizers
Develop a new automation platform for homogenizers
Product Life cycle activities
Plan and perform tests including both internal and field tests
Homogenizer control system and electrical scope of supply
Technical support and training to colleagues
Member of automation design owner network

You will work independently as well as a part of different project teams. You will work in a dynamic organization where you will have close contact between development, application support, production, supply chain, marketing and technical support.
We believe you have
Technical Bachelors or Masters degree in automation, mechanical or equivalent
An expert with 3-5 years of working experience in the area
A background within food industry, industrial automation, processing technologies, packaging or similar will be seen as a merit

Needed skills:
Experience in programming PLC, Siemens and/or Rockwell
Experience in HMI, Visu+ or InTouch
Solid background in automation hardware
Very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must

Additional valuable skills:
Knowledge of using Tetra Pak PlantMaster technology
Knowledge of using P&ID in autocad
Experience in issue resolution, commissioning, drive improvements
System engineering and experience from driving activities in project form
