Automotive System Design Engineer

On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a System Design Engineer for their increasing consultancy. The mission will start in February where the right consultant will be extended or hired after 12 months. Arbetsuppgifter

As a System Design Engineer you will design electrical and electronics systems by identifying the purpose and aim of the system, the component interface, and system behaviors. You will be the one that has full insight in how “remote programming” works for different products and different ECUs today, as well as contribute to investigation/proposal of improvements – that is, act as a function developer for remote programming, being on top of all aspects of it, including diagnostics, power management, driver authorization, etc. You will work together with developers of connected services, representing solutions for the Vehicle EE System.

- Connected Services is a focus area, where the vehicle interface functionality and data is a key enabler.
- Working with the data interface between vehicle and the connected services, and get it controlled and documented, and contributing to the mission of Extended Vehicle Integration Office.
- Method/process development.

Utbildning/erfarenhet

What you maybe have with you today:
- MSc in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or similar.
- Experience from embedded system development.
- Experience in working with automotive EE systems would be an asset – with insight into diagnostic protocols, power management, automotive ECUs, understanding the automotive use cases, etc.
- Some degree of leadership.
- Drive and ability to take the “full grip” is expected.
