The opportunity
We are looking for a versatile AWS Infrastructure Engineer for our platform team, to work in a constantly evolving, dynamic, and agile environment, believing that the route to speed and stability is through automation. Teamwork, communication, and speaking your mind with respect to those around you are of high importance for us. In this role, you’ll set up AWS (Amazon Web Services) infrastructure in CloudFormation\Terraform, building new quality Jenkins pipelines, to meet the development team's expectations regarding the services the team provides to other teams.
The team consists of five people, who would love to work with you. Your team has a DevSecOps standpoint, owns, develops, and manages all Infrastructure as Code in AWS accounts, running 100s of VMs and containers; If you build it, you run it!
Your day-to-day responsibilities include
Lead complex projects and coach junior team members
Delivering the committed objectives that include adapting to any new needs to reach the goal
Securing an outstanding qualitative service availability 24/7/365 and a 3rd line on-call duty according to a rotating schedule.
Participate in your team's day-to-day activities including software development, operations, maintenance, and support
Being an active member in our agile events like daily stand-ups, planning, retros, demos. etc.

Skills we can't do without
As our new AWS Infrastructure Engineer you have:
a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in systems engineering, automating infrastructure creation & maintenance tasks using Docker, Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or another meaningful field
experience in supporting/operating transaction driven and highly available platforms running microservices with 99.99% uptime
proven experience in AWS including DynamoDB, Lambdas, ECS, RDS, S3, Terraform, SAM/CloudFormation
fundamental knowledge about Identity and Access Management in AWS
experience in deployment pipeline including Jenkins Pipeline and GIT, CI/CD, Release on Demand
a deep understanding of software development principles
knowledge of DevSecOps ways of working and culture including fostering the DevOps culture, automation, lean flow, measurement, and recovery
experience in Key management and SSL certificates
implementation experience with security solutions such as WAF, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
full working proficiency in English
