Easypeak is now on Britny´s behalf searching for a Back-end developer

A back-end developer at Britny focuses on delivering high quality functionality and creative solutions in a LAMP environment. The back-end developer needs to be able to learn and implement new technology into very unique and custom solutions for various clients and projects. Understanding and breaking down abstract problems and being able to work closely with the team and different departments are the main traits we are looking for. Great understanding of the inner works of web applications and servers.

Main responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications using PHP and mysql.

Solving and breaking down big problems into doable tasks.

Stay up-to-date with the latest back-end technology (and implement them into our workflow when

appropriate).

Understanding client requirements & functional specifications.

Coordinating with co-developers and other related departments.


Requirements & qualifications:


Be proficient in a LAMP environment.

Great knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript and AJAX.

Participate in discussions with clients and team members about technical best practices and help

teams identify optimal technical solutions.

Work closely together with the sales, back-end and the design teams.

Manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a deadline-driven, team environment.

Desired skills:


Experience with WordPress, Drupal or other.

Experience with PHP frameworks (Codeigniter, Zend, Laravel or other).

Experience with other languages (Python, Bash).

Experience with caching solutions memcached, varnish or other.

A good knowledge about AWS (Amazon Web Services) like EC2, S3, RDS.
