You will get the opportunity to follow new knowledge of academia and industry trends, new technologies and emerging testing methodologies, in order to implement them in our lab. You will develop new test cases and improved cycling methodologies to match our growing understanding of Volvo's vehicle design space. You will also collaborate with other engineers and scientists to develop and deploy new, customized electrochemical test methods like dilatometry, DEMS, or high-throughput EIS.

You will own the uptime for our cell testers. You will make case studies to find changes in software, hardware, or operation, that improve the uptime, you will also be responsible to implement those. You will contribute to design improvements for our cycling lab, fault tracing, and troubleshooting, both test equipment and the batteries themselves.

Last but not least you will contribute to growing the entire team by sharing knowledge in collaborative data analysis using modern data science tooling.
