BATTERY PRODUCTION - Workshop Manager Material Handling

Arbetsbeskrivning

Dedicated to a sustainable future!
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. The electrification trend within the automotive business is moving rapidly. For Production and Logistics this means that we need to prepare for ramping up production of electrical vehicles and help Scania become more sustainable. One major component in an electrical vehicle is the battery. Therefore we have set up a project team with focus to develop the process for in house production of battery modules and battery packs. The first battery production in Sweden has just been consecrated and during the fall, serial production of the first battery packs in our highly automated production will start.
Battery production will be at the forefront of diversity and inclusion and is actively working with this. Within the management team for Logistics, we currently have several different nationalities and we are as many men as women in the group.

We come from different backgrounds and have different experiences, which brings different perspectives and points of view to our challenges. At Scania, we embrace our differences, which together makes us strong!
