Brand Strategy Manager

In the Experience and Brand Team, our job is to grow the Sandvik Coromant brand equity. We own, develop, and maintain brand strategy, brand platform, and guidelines with the goal of making them relevant tools in everyday decision-making across our organization. About the job
In this position, you facilitate strategic decision-making, to grow the long-term value of our brand, as well as continuously evaluate the financial and legal impact from decisions. You participate in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), partnership related discussions, and take decisions regarding Brand Strategy influence. You take care of arising branding matters, such as trademark and naming policies. You also work with the ownership, development, and maintenance of Brand Strategy, with the intent of making it an integrated part of strategic decision-making. You work with senior stakeholders in a global matrix organization, but with no direct reports.

About you
We’re looking for someone with a background in branding, marketing, legal and/or finance matters. You have proven skills and knowledge of brand strategy and trademarking, with previous involvement in stakeholder management as well as expectation management, in an industry like ours. While not a definitive requirement, a degree in either marketing, finance or similar education is advantageous for this position. However, efficient fluency in both written and spoken English is a requirement.
You’re structured with an affinity for tidiness – you see over the facts and look for the bigger picture when initiating projects, accompanied with a can-do attitude when all the pieces are ready to be put together. You’re energetic, a strategic doer who’s skilled in stakeholder management and have a high integrity when it comes to cross-organizational communication.
You’re based in either Stockholm or Sandviken.
