Breeding Supporter

VikingGenetics is the domestic market leader for cattle breeding in the Nordic countries, co-operatively owned by 30,000 farmers. Our unique combination of breeding for health traits as well as production has led to a position as domestic market leader and with substantial export sales. We employ 150 people in Denmark, Finland and Sweden.

To add cattle breeding competencies combined with communication skills we are looking for a market oriented breeding supporter to our Breeding team.

Your main tasks/responsibilities will be:

-Supporter role regarding daily business in breeding related questions

-Direct contact between breeding advisors and VikingGenetics, supported by National breed responsible

-VikingGenetics support in field such as strategic farm visits, farmer meetings etc.

-Support regarding Embryo Transfer setup/activities in Sweden.

-Primary VikingGenetics contact regarding semen import in Sweden for all breeds

-Support to export when we have foreign visitors

-Creation of positive info from field to VikingGenetics social medias

You will work close together with our breeding team across countries. The main office is located in Assentoft close to Randers, Denmark. Two national centers are located in Hollola, Finland and Skara, Sweden. Your location will be Skara in Sweden.

We are looking for a person with:

-Education with farm/breeding theory: "Lantmästare", agronomist or similar

-Knowledge from practical cattle breeding

-Communicative skills - face to face

-English, in speech and writing

-Data & administration, base level

-Flexible and like changes

-Positive and Independent

-Passionate team player
