BU Controller and Head of Finance

What you will be part of
Business Unit (BU) Saab Barracuda is the worldwide market leader in advanced Signature Management solutions for protection against detection and identification. We have customers and representatives in 50 countries and subsidiaries in France, India and the United States. The Swedish office is located in Gamleby in the municipality of Västervik. You will be a member of the Management Team at Saab Barracuda and responsible for Finance and IT.



Your role
Key responibilities for the Head of Finance will be to support the BU President in implementing the business strategy from a finance perspective as well as focusing on the performance of the operations. Your responsibility include the development, implementation and continuous improvement of comprehensive finance and administration procedures and ways of working in accordance with legal requirements and the processes within Saab Group. You will also be actively involved in the business from offerings to execution and delivery. You are expected to present the organization with an accurate overwiew of the BU financial performance as well as accurate forecasting. Specific tasks include: Monitor and control business performance from a financial perspective and report to the BU President and the BA CFO. Monitor and control the achievement of key financial targets. Initiate actions to improve financial performance in order to close gaps to reach target. Oversee all company accounting practicies, including accounting, preparing budgets, financial reports, audit functions and cash management. Contribute to and endorse investment proposals and tenders (WB process) from a financial perspective Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts.

Your experiences and skills
We are looking for a Head of Finance with strong analytical, operational and communication skills. We are looking for a graduate from a Business School/University with several years of experience from a similar position. Through your working experience you have a successful background as a manager including personnel responsibility with proven leadership skills, and using English as a working language is not a problem. It is preferable that you have your experience from different private businesses. To be successful in this position it is important to be business driven, independent and to have an analytic and pedagogical ability to understand and explain economic causation. We are looking for an analytical doer with a commercial mindset. As a person you are also communicative and a good educationalist who enjoys coaching and developing team members and colleagues. You work in a systematic manner and towards the set targets, and your ability to change when needed is high.
