Business Analyst

The person we are looking for should have 3 - 5 years of financial modeling, planning and business analysis experience, preferably within a financial services environment and an advanced degree in finance or accounting. The candidate will report directly to the EMEA Business Control Manager and will have exposure to our EMEA markets and senior management.

The key assignments include:
Assist in the planning process throughout the year, including monthly short-term forecasts along with fall and spring long-term forecasts
Monitor and analyze local country pricing data
Support the Finance function in developing executive information, reporting and measurements for financial and non-financial data
Ensure VFS financial policies and procedures are controlled, tracked, reported and analyzed in a timely manner, in accordance with Volvo?s Financial Policies and Procedures
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis in support of EMEA Management

Education & Professional Experience:
BS/BA in Finance or related field is required
3 to 5 years of experience in financial modeling and planning, business analysis or related field, preferably in the financial services industry
Multi-national corporate work experience preferred

Strong evidence of personal initiative and outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Innovative problem solving and strong analytical and quantitative abilities
Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability and desire to work within and in support of a team environment
Proficient with MS Office, with advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
Advanced knowledge of Hyperion required; Experience with SAP desired
