Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We must meet future needs regarding digitalisation to ensure functional safety and be competitive by improving the workflow of approximately one thousand people working with development of Scania’s Electrical/Embedded systems within R&D. We are facing a very exciting transformation towards a more flow driven working process with agile methods and high performing self-organizing teams.

Your role

You will work within a team and be responsible for the coordination of methods and artefacts that will be developed in order to meet the needs for securing the functional safety from different standards and/or legislations, for example ISO26262, Cyber Security and Software Updates. Digitalisation comes naturally as we are supporting Scania’s R&D business with supportive tools within the tool chain. Activities within the role are to:


• Map our tool chain to identity the gaps to fulfil the standards or legislation
• Educate the Electrical/Embedded organisation regarding functional safety and how to use the tool chain
• Synchronise with other parts of Scania

Your profile

As the Tool chain module leader we are looking for someone who:


• Has a deep understanding of Product Development within R&D
• Has the commitment and motivation to work with others to coordinate all the activities in order to fulfil legal demands and as well as Scania’s own requirement regarding functional safety.
• Has a university education within IT or equivalent experience
• Is passionate about agile system development

You are happy working in a team, but are also capable of working independently when required. You are an accomplished communicator with good social skills.
