Business Controller - Handheld, Electric and Accessories

The product categories Handheld, Electric and Accessories are seeking to appoint an experienced Business Controller. The position will functionally reside within the Finance organization, but the work will to a large degree be focused on working closely with the three Product Category Managers (for Handheld, Electric and Accessories) and their respective management teams.

The Business Controller position is based in Huskvarna and will also be part of each category's international management team.

Job description
The position includes the following main tasks:
- To actively support the management teams with operational reports and analysis both on a monthly and ad hoc basis. E.g. drive and monitor margin as well as growth improvements in accordance with product plans and investments.
- To develop and analyse actual financial development versus prior year, forecast and budget. The analysis is carried out in several dimensions e.g. products,
sales channels, markets and periods.
- To make profitability calculations and follow-up of the global R&D- and investment projects.
- Track and report Category KPI:s on a continuous basis
- To actively participate in the strategic planning, budget and forecasting work for the
categories as per instructions from Group Finance.
- Taking part in shaping the future (not only explaining the past)
- Together with Purchasing, drive and monitor ongoing and future Purchasing Cost reductions (Direct and indirect material) via Technical change (OMV)

Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a Master's degree in Finance or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant working experience, whereof 2-3 years from controlling within an international company.
- Be highly motivated and like to work independently.
- Be well organised and analytical and have the ability to see the bigger picture and put things into context
- Be an advanced user of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, verbal as well as in writing.
- Be a relationship builder who enjoys working with others in a global environment and who has a history of instilling confidence.
