Business Controller

To Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions, we are now looking for a business-minded and structured Business Controller. The one we are looking for enjoys working in a dynamic setting with many different stakeholders where we team up to deliver results and try to find new ways of doing things. We provide cutting-edge solutions for our mining and construction customers, and within our business control team, we support the divisions to keep doing that by offering efficient, reliable, and proactive financial and business analysis to our key stakeholders. Shortly about the job
In this position, you are part of our strong financial network spanning 11 divisions and 14 sales areas. You are one of the business partners to our management team and a key stakeholder to common group functions, such as investor relations. Our team members provide financial information for the performance management process, follow up on the divisions’ results, as well as validate business cases and investment proposals. You create forecasts, analyze, and follow up on performance, and present your findings to provide actionable recommendations and support decision-making. In addition, you contribute with your financial knowledge to various change and development projects.
The location for this position is at the World Trade Center in Stockholm, however, for the right candidate, the position can be somewhat flexible with potential relocation to Stockholm. Global traveling will be part of your job in the future, approximately 3-4 days per month.
Who you are?
We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance, Business or Technical IT, combined with a few years’ experience in business control. We believe that you have good knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Power BI. Working in a truly global environment calls for excellent English skills, verbal and written.
You find networking easy, and you are someone who can build strong relationships based on trust and honesty. You enjoy working with narrow deadlines and always deliver when promised and put great pride in doing so. Being technical and detail-oriented comes in handy in this role, but when it comes down to the big things, you strongly believe that the best solutions emerge from great collaboration across the entire organization.
