Business development Manager - Demand to cash management

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

“Today’s system at Scania is perfectly designed to give exactly the result we get” - We need to think and act differently to get another, better result. This is challenging and at the same time the background to why a new organisation, Demand to cash management, was established 1st of January this year.

Demand to cash (D2C) management is responsible for the Forecast and planning process and the Order to cash process including Order management.

Our mission is to increase the flow efficiency within Scania’s product delivery process, Order to delivery (O2D), while utilizing the available resources in the best possible way.

We are in a transformation where we are defining our new way of working and we have many exciting challenges ahead. We are therefore reinforcing our team with a few new Business development managers.

What we offer

We can offer you a wide, challenging and developing position in an exciting and dynamic environment. We are together building a flexible and fast moving organisation with focus on enabling flow efficiency where the cross functional collaboration is key to success. The focus and attention from Scania’s top management as well as their expectations of our results are high.

As a Business development manager, you can either be responsible for extensive cross functional projects connected to the D2C area or drive the step change in either the Forecast and planning process or the Order to cash process. Common for all is the challenge to lead change and the opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Scania business. Depending on your strengths, your background and what motivates you, your mission in our organisation can look differently.

Your profile

As a person you are curious and have a genuine interest in understanding the business from a holistic perspective. You want to learn more about flow efficiency and how you can contribute to increase that at Scania. You are innovative and open for new ways of working and have a genuine interest in understanding how new techniques such as advanced analytics can be utilized in our operations. You enjoy working together in a team and have a positive and responsible attitude.

One of your strong abilities is to quickly take in a large amount of information, connect the details to the bigger picture, draw conclusions and turn them into action in a structured way where you drive and follow up the activities. You enjoy work situations where your analytical thinking and your drive for change are valued just as high as creating results through actions on an everyday basis.

To explain and communicate complex matters in an easy and understandable way is key to success. It is  equally important to enjoy the interaction with the network of colleagues within Scania that this position offers.

You have a relevant academic degree for the job and are fluent in English.

So, if you want to join a team, who together solves complex problems in a constantly changing and fast paced environment – take the opportunity and join us!
