Job Summary:
As Business Development Representative (BDR) at Altair, you are offered a great opportunity to grow as a sales professional and take an active role in our future success. The BDR focus on driving revenue growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities to support the sales funnel. This is achieved via active inbound/outbound prospecting, lead/contact management and setting up meetings between potential clients and our sales representatives.
This role reports to the Sales Director at Altair Nordics.


What You Will Do:
Actively prospect for potential customers through phone calls and other methods.
Manage daily email outreach through tools like Salesloft, Outlook etc.
Work tightly with Marketing to ensure that generated leads from marketing are followed-up with in a timely manner.
Work tightly with Sales to ensure that booked meetings are being prepared in a way which maximizes chances of successful outcome
Collaborate with other BDR’s in Europe and the rest of the world to refine and improve methods and share best practices



What You Will Need:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably from the engineering/IT software or services industry.
Strong prospecting and lead qualification skills
Demonstrated success understanding business objectives and meeting or exceeding goals
Fluent in English and Swedish
Must be customer focused and highly responsive
Ability to work in fast-paced, disciplined, process-driven, sales and marketing environment
Good time management and prioritization skills
Preferably knowledge of a CRM system to facilitate lead qualification and advancement of sales cycle.
